BARGAIN BASEMENT
Three original watercolours by the eminent contemporary Bird artist Trevor Boyer.
They were drawn from life as preparatory sketches for his books “Birds of Prey of the World” and “Owls of the World”. They compare favourably to the published images.
Signed with initials bottom right and inscribed by the artist.
They were acquired direct from the artist by John Metcalfe FRZS.
I am selling them as a suite of three for £145.
Sizes are Hawk Eagle 7” x 10” and the Long Eared Owls are 5.5” x 6” and 5.5” x 8”.
They were folded to send home from the expedition where Boyer saw them.
An original gouache on card by the French Interior Design company Georges Lubac. It is impressed with the studio stamp.
Dating from c.1930 it shows a design for a child's bedroom.
A charming period piece that will frame well.
Size is 8.5” x 8” and the price is £75.
