Alfred Rawlings was a Reading based Watercolour painter who specialised in Landscapes and Seascapes. This drawing dates from c.1910 and is signed bottom left. In good clean unfaded condition, it has a little foxing but nothing major. A nice example of this post-impressionists work.

A beautiful gouache by this little known West Countrypainter. The light is very well handled and the subject matter well composed.It is typical of the style of painting popularised in the 1920's by artists who were influenced by Neapolitan School gouaches. Very atmospheric. Signed bottom left. It is on a heavy card and there is a slight oxidisation in the clouds but it is in excellent condition otherwise.

Walter Jenks Morgan was a well known early 20thc painter and illustrator. This drawing dates from c.1900 and is signed bottom right. In good clean unfaded condition. A good example of this increasingly sought after artist's work. It is one of a pair, the second being of Matilda the Good, also £195. A beautiful example of work by this listed Sussex artist.In good clean unfaded condition.It shows a small boy and his sister visiting a friend on his birthday. Exhibited at the East Sussex Arts Club in 1913. Between 1893 & 1907 she exhib 27 in London & the provinces.
